Southern NH Scanner Stream Test

Hello:

I've set-up a live stream of my BC796D. I'm testing this using the free hosting service on www.streamwebtown.com in conjunction with Windows Media Encoder.

I've set the stream up to screen capture the alpha tags being shown in my Proscan software. The sound is live but there is a 20-30 second real-time delay.

All you need is Windows Media Player installed on your end. When you type the link below into your browser, it should come right up and connect to the display & sound of my scan. Just adjust the size of your Windows Media Player as you like.

Right now I'm scanning the following towns/departments:

-Londonderry Police & Fire
-Derry Police
-Derry Fire Alarm
-Bedford Police
-Pelham Police
-Merrimack County Dispatch
-Rockingham County West

Sometimes the server goes down at streamwebtown.com, but I'll check in
on it regularly and reset it if needed.

Mike-

I have same scanner, and having a diificult time setting up Mass State Police. Do you have this programmed in? and if you do, can you send me step by step process. I've tried everything, even following steps on posted here on the website. I'm not sure where else to go. Any help will do.

Hi John:

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not likely to have the stream on full-time at this point, but I will try to put it up as often as possible though. I'm running it through an old Dell laptop hooked-up to an external USB sound card.

When it's on, you'll likely hear the same towns/departments I usually listen to in Southern NH (Rockingham County). I do however change up the frequencies now and then.

P.S. I don't leave the scanner on over night, so the stream is usually turned off by 11:00pm.

I like your feed alot, i did the same thing, but i had a lot of frequencies, but mabye you could add the Nashua Trunk if you can get it, also Salem and Merrimack PD's would be a good addition. Possibly sdding Some NH State Police, probably Troop A and/or Troop B
