the other day i was going down I-295 In south jersey and i saw what looked like the top of a ship. Anyone know what it is and used for and any frequincies?

I do not if its still used for that but it used to be a naval warfare electronics development center but I beleive its not used for that anymore.

That would be the so-called 'Cornfield Cruiser.'

Although the Aegis system is 30 years old now - the site is still used by Lockheed Martin as part of their Moorestown facility.

Now my question, is it still surrounded by those big towers? It's been almost 10 years since I was down that way.

There is one or two radio towers nearby.
