Southern Westchester Trunking on a BCT8

I am so lost on how to program my scanner. I am thinking about just getting ARC8. Will that make it easier to program trunking on my scanner? I live in Southern Westchester and would like to have trunking on my scanner. Is the BCT8 capable of doing this system?

I have poked around in the database and apparently made a feeble attempt at programing it. HELP please point me in the right direction.

What I don't understand is the DEC and HEX... and we all know the manual is not helpful.. :banghead:

This was of very little to no help. I am COMPLETELY new at this. I have since my last post received the ARC8 software and have tried numerous times to get trunking to work on my scanner. I am requesting step by step instructions at this point. I have tried many different configurations to no avail. Ask me as many questions at possible. I am also able to post screen shots if need be.

Well,lets see if we can help. In order to listen to this system you need to program it as a motorola uhf trunked system. Be sure to program the south site frequencies in TRUNKED mode. You also MUST program the base,offset and spacing info from the table in order for it to trunk properly and follow the conversation. Program the ids you want by selecting trunk/id and you should be in business. However,you need to program the north site/same way in a different bank so you can hear all available transmissions.Good luck as this system is sometimes quiet depending on your location. Bus activity tends to be heavy at times.
