Southington Frequencies

Hey all. Was wondering if Southington has changed anything? I have been listening the last few days and have had no hits on any of their frequencies. Any info on if they have changed anything?

I'm not aware of any changes, and I don't believe that the town would change all the freqs. used for the FD, PD, etc. at once.

I would think that it's more likely that you have inadvertently changed a PL setting, or your receiver, or antenna/coax is at fault.

Are you still receiving other towns/agencies, or the NWS freqs?

I have not changed anything and have never even played with the pl setting. I did buy a new scanner however and am receiving everything else as I received it before. I live in plainville so I wonder if it is just a crappy signal over here.

Southington

Nothing has changed as of this morning with the PD freq and I recall hearing the fire on both their dispatch and repeater frequencies yesterday. I did notice though the highway department seems to be having issues with their repeater. It sounds horrible.
