Back in the Tacoma area working for a while. In the old days the "charlie" group was just for eastern pierce county fire Departments. Central Pierce, West Pierce and across the bridge were on PSRN "bravo". I guess things have changed. I note in the database that "charlie" now has Dispatch 1, Dispatch 2, and Dispatch 3 talkgroups, plus several ems and ops talkgroups. Can anyone tell me if the departments (west, central. And east areas) are all dispatched on one "charlie" talkgroup or are they split up between the three? I also notice Central Pierce still has 3 ops talkgroups still on the PSRN system,,,how convenient for us....do they ever send them to "charlie" ops or ems channels?

Dispatch Channels Bravo 1 and Charlie 1 are identical.
Delta 1 is the VHF tone out channel for all agencies
West Pierce, Central Pierce, Browns Point, Riverside, East Pierce, Anderson Island, DuPont use Bravo Channels
South Pierce, Orting Valley, Ashford, Gig Harbor, Key Peninsula use Charlie Channels
Graham uses a mix of Bravo and Charlie, depending on call location.
