Southwest Metro Fire Dispatch

A lot of the fire departments in the southwest metro have recently or are in the process of switching to Fire Station Alerting System | Phoenix G2 USDD Phoenix G2 alerting.

Edina/Richfield have been using the system for some time now. They use the Samantha voice in the station and the Australian Lee voice on the radio

Saint Louis park has just switched over in the last few days. They use the Tom voice on the radio.

Eden Prairie is in the process of switching, Samantha is heard in the station and Ashley is on the radio.

Hennepin County is rumored to be switching at some point.

I actually heard a fire page that had the old "squad 51 - emergency beeep bop scaaaaaaaaaa!" at the end of the page. Good humor.

You can hear USDD's version of the station 51 tones in this video

these are used by eden prairie in the station for fire calls and

this sound is used for medical calls. I believe Edina/Richfield uses station 51 for their test call.
