Hello to everyone,

Great site and forum :) I and my father are new to the sanning world.

I bought my father a Pro-95 scanner for xmas from RS and they programmed Montgomery and Greene County. He tried to delete some frequencies and wasn't successful. It looks like the scanner is skipping banks and i can not get it back to normal w/out starting fresh. I called RS and they said they will only program the scanner once at the initial purchase. Is there anyone here that could reset the scanner and re-program the frequencies or a place i could take it too that will do this for a small fee? I live near dayton and work in franklin if there is someone/place close by.

Frequencies that he would like to be programmed and trunking if available:

Montgomery County Sheriff Department
New Lebanon fire and police
Brookville fire and police
Farmersville fire and police
Perry Township police
Jefferson Township fire
Jackson Township police
Trotwood fire and police
Germantown fire and police
Miami Township fire(if available) and police
Preble County Sheriff Department
West Alexandria fire and police
Eaton fire and police
Weather
Careflight

Thank You,

--Scott

Im right here at ground zero, Trotwood, Brookville New Lebanon.... I''m monitoring everything on your list basically divided into three banks. Don't forget to add 155.025 if your close to New Lebanon. Contact me if you just have questions or want me to program it for you. I have been programming both Radio Shack and Uniden Trunk Trackers for friends and others in this area for a while now.

Can you confirm a PL for New Lebanon?

I am down in Franklin and get an ocassional signal there with a
151.4 PL which is the standard tone for Montgomery County.

If anyone is interested, we hold monthly scanner/shortwave meetings
in Springboro. We have plenty of members who can help program it.

Also the Radio Shack at Northgate mall on the west side of the Cincinnati area will program a Pro-96 for free with the MONIX Cincinnati/Dayton area setup.

More info at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MONIX/
