Unfortunately a thick cloud deck may screw up the plans. But nice listening regardless - thanks for the feed!

Cloud layer

Cloud deck is forecast to be here about 1 hour before launch. Moving in from the north. Not believed to be very thick. Need to get the aircraft up. Thanks for listening, enjoy!

I did not have a chance to listen to this feed last night or this morning. Are these pure internal radio comms or the equivalent of NASA Select audio?

Thanx either way!

Bote - these are not internal comms, and they aren't NASA Select. They are "operational" comms on the ground at KSC, click on the "more info" button on the feed and/or head to the Database and you'll see what it covers.

A beautiful launch with a big long orange flame piercing the night sky. That sight will not be seen again.

Ehh, I wouldn't be so sure yet... The last night launch everyone said "won't be seen again" and delays put 130's launch from a daytime one to nighttime one. That is still easily possible for future missions.
