I'm planning on attending the launch tomorrow (assuming there isn't another scrub) and I want to bring my scanner. Last time I went to a launch, I was able to find a frequency (online first) to listen to. It pretty much just sounded like the audio that would be on NASA TV. Nothing technical. But I can't find what that frequency was/is. Does anyone know? I've spent a lot of time searching online, and I've found tons of shuttle frequencies, but I sure wouldn't mind to have a definite answer before I went, so that I wouldn't have to just scan there. Also, are there any other good frequencies to monitor while I'm there? Remember that I have looked online, so I have lists of frequencies. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of specifically good ones. Thanks.

These make great frequencies to store in your scanner for your next trip to Florida. Note only are these frequencies active during Shuttle Launches, but during many of the other sounding rocket launches as well. Launch or no launch, these can provide some interesting monitoring anytime you are around the Florida NASA complex.

If your going to watch the launch on Sunday, the frequency your looking for is an Amateur repeater 146.940, they rebroadcast the NASA audio. Enjoy the launch if not scrubbed.
