Great flight. I wonder why Boeing with their recession troubles, isn't the leading competition in this business.

This is great news and I hope that more private enterprises will join the space race. I fully support the idea of exploring our solar system and beyond. How else can us Star Trek fans make what we love into an eventual reality.

"May you live long and prosper." After all how can "the needs of the many"(The overpopulated Earth.), "out weigh the needs of the one"?

"Now departing for the International Space Station, and points beyond... delta intergalactic flight 1254... " And for us Trek Fans.... We will be leaving this quadrant at a speed of Warp 8.50, and arrive in Delta Quadrant in approximately 8 standard solar hours, please be sure your baggage was all properly beamed aboard,...

*US* Star Trek fans? If you're a fan, you should know it takes well over 8 hours to get to the Delta Quadrant at warp 9.975, let alone Warp 8.5 (almost 6 times slower). You're probably looking at 10-20 years to reach the Delta Quadrant unless you know of a wormhole that hasn't been doccumented.

Of course the Borg survived. They also stated that they only blew up a certain percentage of their conduits. But still, it would take a lot longer than 8 hours to reach the Delta Quadrant. BTW, there are only 285 Rules Of Aquisition if you wanted to take a guess at a number.

All in good fun. :D

Desilu also made a huge mistake by selling the franchise. :)
