6055khz at 0000utc (7pm in EST). Nice to see them come back on the air after announcing they were discontinuing the service in November. Cuban spatter from 6060khz makes it hard to catch, narrow filter is probably a must for North American listening.

Nice to see them back.

6055kHz REI romps into here in our winter but poor in the summer. His transmitter at Noblejas is almost at my antipode (?) so I get a good signal on the grey line which will be about 0800UTC, 2100 local - I'll give it a try then.

I have a carrier and muffled audio, language not determined amongst the static crashes at 0600UTC.

......which never got any stronger but about 0930UTC I could hear that it wasn't English. French or Spanish! I see they have an Arabic broadcast but not on 6055. Swahili from Kigali perhaps?
