• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

At the New Jersey State Fair / Sussex County Farm and Horse Show, I spotted two SPCA
Officers. I noticed that the radio's were Motorola with UHF antennas. I know that they have
a TG on the State 800 System. Does anyone know what other frequencies they may use.
Thanks in advance.

I did happen to catch them while there were at the fair and I did hear them on the trunk system talking to each other while they were doing inspections. I know that Warren County SPCA used to have a UHF freq, but it has long since expired.

Thanks John. I didn't even think about them being there, I just had the NJ Dept. of Ag. in
the scanner and then the batteries ran down on the 250D.
