SPD Tactical 9

Hello,

I have been listening to the protests in the Seattle area and the CHOP Zone. At first I was listening to the police. But then protester started monitoring the police frequencies causing the police to stop using their radios and use their cell phones instead. Now fairly recently the police have been referring to a mysterious "Tactical 9" Channel to communicate for the protests. As far as I know there is no Tactical 9 Channel in the SPD Frequency list listed on RadioReference.com. Does anyone know or can speculate what channel they are referring to?

It's been a few years since I had regular access to SPD radios to map out their template, but at that time they had at least 15 encrypted talkgroups, including Tac-8 and 9. Nothing new or mysterious.

At least one of the encrypted TGIDs Nessnet posted isn't SPD, rather SFD.

45136 is their Tac 9 (all protest related communications under encryption umbrella). My SDR has seen activity on this channel a total of 46,455 times since April 18th. So yeah, this is a fairly active channel now days

i have 44912 listed in my scanner as an emergency response team - digital channel 1. ive seen it active some times, but as far as i can tell they mostly use the 45136. those channels were identified on another site.
