Speaker For PRO-83

Anyone know a good place to get a in the case speaker for the 83?

Mine is starting to sound like it might be going. Getting scratchy sounding.

You'll need to order the part direct (from RadioShack parts), or return the 83 to RadioShack for repair.

Is the replacement any better quality? I remember something on the PRO-43's the replacement speaker had better audio quality.

I don't know. Are you sure its the speaker and not loose batteries, or something stuck to the cone magnet?

I'm not sure what it is. When the rain comes later I will take apart and check. Never really had it up loud enough to damage the speaker. Does't mean someone else didn't though.

That's one thing I don't like about power the button being separate from the volume knob.
