I am researching frequency inversion scrambler now,but some corporations which provide scrambler module say that their modules have good speaker recognition. But I don't whis is the meaning for the phrase"speaker recognition " , it is influenced by what ? The original text is followed
"other competitors using split band scrambler are also at risk. They split the voice audio into the narrower bands. The width or radio of the two bands are then hopped between 32 possible split points. The voice information is now present in both splits.By applying a single inversion scrambler or a fixed split band scrambler to just one of the narrower bands intelligibility is possible but with little or no speaker recognition."

That means you won't be able to recognize who's speaking by their voice. Like passing the audio through one of those voice-changer modules, the ones that do the "robot" voice. No inflection.

Voice inversion, splitband and slow hopping code scramblers are worthless for communications security. They protect against only the casual scanner monitor.

Speaker recognition allows you to identify and recognize who is speaking,
not just the meaning. As speech gets more degraded, recognition usually goes first
even though it's still intellegible. For logistical and sometimes security reasons,
you don't want to give up speaker recognition.
