If you're like me, your monitoring shack is loaded with gadgets and cable clutter! It's getting difficult to find a place to set down a cup of coffee. This could be especially true for those of you offering audio streaming, which often involves an additional computer/scanner added to the mix. It also serves well as a real time recording monitor and playback speaker.

I found a device that might be of help. It's a small amplified dual speaker insert that fits into a standard 5-1/2" drive bay on your average desktop PC. I found one on Ebay, but noticed Amazon also carries them, for $16-$35. It looks, and works great! It's not for the audiophile expecting high fidelity sound, but for voice it's perfect!
