Speakers?

Kind of an off the wall questions,but I'm looking for some speakers to replace the ones on my Monitor. Can be a 2 speaker setup or a soundbar type.
Wanted to see what you guys were using?

One pc is using cheap powered pc speakers. Other pc using more expensive pc speakers with sub woofer. When mobile, truck stereo line in to Pioneer head with a few amps and subs. Sounds great at airshows or any other air related event.

Would you say that the cheap speakers do the job?

Full size sound bar, (not the short mini's), with surround sound and dolby for me. Makes listening much better than a cheap set of tinny sounding computer speakers. Much easier to understand the variations in speech around the scanning world.

Yeah,I don't need something outrageous,but not so cheap that the voices are hard to understand.

For me, I had trouble understanding speech with my Sony soundbar, and it isn't cheap. There's just, no clarity to them, too much bass. I also used a cheapo soundbar and it had the same issue.

But I run an SDR, not a scanner. Ultimately I settled for the Soundcore Select Go 4. It's a bluetooth-only speaker but it's amazing especially for the price, and after adjusting the EQ from the speakers app, it's the clearest speaker I've heard.

Apologies, I got this post originally confused with another. Thought you wanted audio for your scanner lol. My bad. That being said, For the price ($25), that Soundcore speaker is crazy good for music too and if you buy two of them, you can even get stereo sound. They aren't the loudest thing in the world but they aren't quiet either. Pretty good bass, clear lows and mids and as I said, you can adjust the EQ to your liking, but the presets aren't bad for general listening - The default is great.

But they're bluetooth only. However, they have these cheap dohickeys out that you can plug into a 3.5mm jack and they emit a bluetooth signal so that's a good alternative if your devices don't have bluetooth. Not sure how good they are, but if you looked into a bluetooth speaker like the Select 4 Go, might be worth a try! if you just want to replace your PC speakers, a USB bluetooth dongle would be fine.
