Besides BearCom, another player in the special events temporary radio systems category is Communications Direct. Among the many other events they do each year, they provide the comms for Lollapalooza in Chicago's Grant Park.

I did winter X for Marcus communications this year, also have been at events where CP communications rented radios, mostly to the TV production crew.

Most of the larger rental companies, like those above, do not use itinerant and business radio frequencies, they hold their own licenses, some regional, some for specific events, and some nationwide.

Racing Electronics does all the IMSA and Nascar races. Not sure if they are temporary but the radios they supply has profiles in them for each tracks frequencies. The Frequencies they use are different them what the tracks use for all other events
