Spectrum Scan

Greetings,
I have a G5 UHF/700-800 Mhz pager. I'm trying to set up a spectrum scan, but i'm lost. Can someone steer me in the right direction for demo/instructions. Replies turely appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge and in speaking to others who helped program my G4, I believe the spectrum scan is a function you will either have 'on' or 'off' for each P25 system. Per the help info on the D2 tab in the PPS programming software, it:

• Enables the radio to automatically perform a Full Spectrum Scan when the radio goes out of range of all its currently programmed controller information.

So with this feature 'on' it will search the frequency range you specify, looking for control channel(s) based on the talk group IDs you have programmed. I believe this is helpful when you have known TG IDs, but might not know the control channels for a specific system.
