Does anyone know the outside diameter of the the cable of the SpectrumForce Wideband Antenna? I'm going to order the antena from Scanner
Masters but I also need to order some clips for the cable.

Assuming they still use a RG-174 type of coax it should be around 2.75 mm (more or less).

Just so you know, I had one or those. The cable failed within a year where it fastened to the antenna mount.

Thanks everyone. Makes me second guess my decision to buy one. I just want a mobile antenna that would be good to pick up NOAA weather radio.

Any VHF mobile antenna will do that.

Put an NMO mount on your vehicle.
Then choose one of these:

I'm running one of those on top of my wife's truck connected to a Kenwood TK-7180. Works very well.

I run a lot of these at work. Well made antennas.

$39.95 https://www.theantennafarm.com/cata...nfo&cPath=191_192_195_457_208&products_id=738
more gain than the one above, but more flexible, so it'll sway back at highway speeds and impact performance slightly, still a good choice if you are out on the fringes.

$49.95 https://www.theantennafarm.com/cata...nfo&cPath=191_192_195_457_212&products_id=739
Not as much gain as the one above, but a bit more forgiving if you don't have a good ground plane under the antenna.

There is no magic to antennas, they all operate under the same laws of physics.
While I'm sure Spectrum Force makes some decent antennas, I've been running some Larsen antennas for 30+ years without issue. Professional grade antennas will outlast the hammy/Chinese crap antennas by a long shot.
