Spen 2 155.475 patch to NYPD

155.475 is patched to NYPD 471.1125 special command frequency today . You can only hear the dispatcher from NYPD. No idea why the patch is on .

Are they using a PL tone or DPL code?

I've been monitoring the cross band frequency pair described with the PL/DPL set to select the active tone. I've heard nothing all day so far. If I get a hit, I'll pass it along. There are a few NYC/NJ Metro interop tests that are being conducted by the contractors but my inside sources are not aware of the details (or they do not wish to disclose them).

Is that the ITAC NY/NJ frequency 866.750? I hear tests on various TAC interop freqs from time to time but so far nothing on the 500MHz block.

NJITAC5 is 866.7750 MHz (PL 156.7 Hz). Bruce is probably talking about the NJUTAC frequencies.
