will any coax splitter work with a radio shack 20-176 antenna so i could use in 2 different rooms

Yes, though I might be a bit concerned by problems from loss - both due to the splitter itself (you can't get something for nothing...) and any excessive lengths of coax (don't use cheap 58U or similar, though you might be tempted to do it...). A splitter, such as those from Stridsburg, with a built in amp would mitigate such problems. 73s Mike
