Mike,

Not a problem! I hadn't heard that they moved the PD and SO dispatch down there! They had a fairly new dispatch center in the City/County Public Safety Building. As for the Fire CCC, I knew they were talking about the possibility of moving but had done a major renovation to the City Dispatch Center in Riverfront Park (on Havermale Island in the middle of the park sitting right on the river above the falls) when they combined all the other dispatch centers and it became the CCC. Kind of suprised they would have moved so quickly. It would be N. Rebecca, where the City's Training Tower is right next to Fire Station #8 on the east side of Spokane Community College. Been to the tower several times in my past life!!!!

One other note I find interesting regarding 155.175 (AMR). The dispatch transmits a 179.9 tone and the cars transmit a 151.4(?) tone! Several years ago, I heard a Seattle AMR car coming into Spokane and trying to call Dispatch. Dispatch couldn't hear them and one of the cars had to relay their traffic!

AMR and Fairchild AFB

Hi all
I found out that the AMR radio System in spokane is contracted to Day Wireless Systems
through an open house at the spokane office.

As far as the Spokane CCC they have been at the new building for about 3 or 4 years now
out by the spokane community collage.

I am also looking for the system info on the Fairchild AFB vhf trunked system.

Thanks
Steve

They were on a 152.xxxx/157.xxxx repeater pair that they were trying/leasing from Day but, the last couple of times i've been over there, I have only heard them on 155.175... of course ski season hasn't started yet! Have they moved to a new frequency or just on 5.175?

Amr

As far as I know they are back to using the simplex frequency of 155.175 for dispatch.
I have seen an 800 Mhz pair licensed to AMR here in spokane but have
never heard anything on it.

They were using the aformentioned 152/157 repeated pair which is licensed to Day and transmitted from a site on Beacon Hill above Felts Field. But it seemed to get alot of interference from adjacent paging sites, so there were issues.

If you search American Medical Response in the FCC database, you will find they have a bunch of 810/855 pairs scattered across the state. I put a couple of them listed for this area into my scanner once to see what came up and it appears they use them for links to their VHF transmitters.
