It appears now there are sponsored link ads between posts in the forum how distracting, is RR becoming an ad site for radios? too much commercialism will cost you, people are fed up with all the advertising being bombarded at them from every direction and now RR, I recommend it be removed. I understand it is done to make money for the site but ask yourself at what cost?

RadioReference.com is a business, and the ads being shown are on-topic, relevant, and non "bombarding."

So, at what cost you might add? None. It doesn't cost you a penny (and hasn't I might add since you've enjoyed the benefits of the site without nary a single penny out of your pocket)

You want to see irritating ads, - head on over to QRZ or many other sites. Otherwise, enjoy the fantastic free resource that is available to you, and quit *****ing.

It was'nt a *****, and if I do ***** I'll ***** whenever I want to and to whomever I want to and you'll know it when I do, I dont come to this site to *****ed at and put down for making a non-inflammatory post yet I get a very rude, arrogant and flammatory reply, very disrespectful for you to talk to me that way and I am glad everyone can read this and see for themself what kind of person you really are.

John, no one posted an arrogant, "flammatory", disrespectful post to you. If you can't handle a truthful response from the owner, then don't post a message. Nobody put you down - what I did was point out the obvious - and you obviously can't stand the response, so you throw it back in my face.

I too am glad this is in a public forum. And you are obviously on the losing end of this one.

The level of self-righteousness is flabbergasting at times, and you basically proved my point. You complained about ads on a free site, and instead of having nice things to say you tell the world that we're "distracting", "commercialism", and "bombarding." Welcome to capitalism my friend - you are free to take your business elsewhere.

Frankly, you can go away as far as I'm concerned. you'll find that I'm the most giving and caring person, and I'll provide the best customer service possible, but when someone comes here and says "I'll do what I want, when I want, around here" - then I say, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

I really like the way you sugar-coat things. :)

I would not say it's advertising since he's not selling anything, plus you can always turn off sigs to keep things somewhat clutter free :D
