Hello. I am trying to install a SC150 in my vehicle for mobile use. I have the Uniden cigarette lighter adapter plugged into a Radio Shack switched cigarette lighter cord. Workes great. However, with the battery pack in the scanner, to keep the programming from deleting, the switch turns off the DC power but the scanner stays on because of the battery pack. Anyway around this? I would like to keep the scanner in my glovebox and the volume level set. Thanks. Henry
