Spotsy Fire Simulcast? (and a Quantico question...)

Hi,

I live in Fairfax but will be going to school in Fredericksburg in a matter of days, so naturally I am programming up my radio... Does Spotsy simulcast fire dispatch on a conventional frequency, or are they strictly limited to the EDACS system? Also, does anyone know if the data listed on this site (under Prince William County) for Quantico PM and FD is still accurate?

Spotsy FD Simulcasts Primary Dispatch on 156.195.

You can look up Quantico Marine Base as well as the Fredericsburg area, through this link. The Radio Reference has Spotsylvania County, City of Fredericksburg as well as Stafford County and many others.

Thanks! For some reason Spoty's simulcast freq. isn't listed in the radio reference database...

Also, what freqs. are used for fire mutual aid in this area? Do they use the standard F-MARS frequencies that the DC-Metro area uses?

I'm programming up my VX-150 (great low-budget radio, by the way... I can't afford an XTS3k for every band!), and I think I should be good to go, at least for now. I'm sure I'll discover things that I omitted once I get down there and start listening.

I'm not sure FMARS is used that far south, PW is the furthest south that has FMARS I believe
