Something isn't right. I have 2 edacs systems on my scanner (hanover and spotsylvania). I programed them both in closed modes and only entered the sheriff's office tgs for both. I seldom drive through Hanover, but when I do, everything seems right. When I drive into spotsy (usually just the Massaponox area), I can pick up transmissions, but I hear numerous different things on a talkgroup. For instance, it'll display Patrol 1 and I'll hear Patrol 1 one minute but I'll hear fire dispatch another, and rescue arriving at mary washington the next. I don't know if it's because I don't have good enough signal or how it's programed or what.

I have it programmed on a radio shack pro -2055 (used as mobile) as followed:

Spotsylvania (bank 4)
Channel 00: 856.48750 ED
Channel 01: 857.48750 ED
Channel 02: 858.48750 ED
Channel 03: 859.48750 ED
Channel 04: 860.48750 ED
Channel 05: 866.61250 ED
Channel 06: 867.40000 ED
Channel 07: 867.67500 ED
Channel 08: T-A 1 FM
Channel 09: T-A 2 FM
Channel 10: T-A 3 FM
Channel 11: T-A 4 FM
Channel 12: M-A 1 FM
Channel 13: M-A 2 FM

I have it in closed mode with just the Sheriff's office tgs programed (with text display)

Can anybody help please?

You seem to have the order of the frequencies correct. Maybe you should start the frequencies from Channel 01 instead of Channel 00. This may be causing the kind of problems you're having.

That fixed the problem, and I can hear everything accuratly and just fine. Thanks!
