Springfield Area Question

Is it a cell phone or not..

go out toward weller and repbulic road, just south of repbulic road on weller there is a telephone pole with, what looks to me to be a cell phone, or some sort of wireless data site, the people that live in that area i know think it's a tornado siren.. but i don't think it is.. it has a ton of proccessing gear in a rack under it, along with some tel. line interfaces.. can anyone confirm what this is?

It's hard to say what it is you were looking at without seeing a picture, but here's a picture of a tornado siren (if I can get it to upload correctly).

if that's what you saw, that would be one of the newer sirens in that area. The boxes at the bottom of the pole are the battery and radio control housings.
