Thorney, I think Springfield Twp has 3 stations, so you'll need to note which 'station' dispatch is paging.
McCord Rd. is station 2, ......I think. (having a 'CRS' attack right now)
The STFD Life Squad is '10'

I'm pretty much at the 'northern edge' where LCSD & Sylvania Twp meet. On occasion, it gets a little 'scratchy' - mostly with heavy fog and certain other weather conditions.

Don't know if you're using a 'rubber ducky' antenna inside your abode or not, but I use an external antenna tuned for around 450MHz mounted about 25' up using RG-6/59 coax. I basically get about the same reception the units get - when they are having problems, I have problems.

I also enter the 'mobile freq' of the units (465.475) in, with no delay, so when they're fairly near, I have no problem hearing them. You might give that a try. At least you would be able to hear the '3', '4' and maybe the '6' units.
