Anyone else catch PSP Chamberburg talking with PSP Huntingdon last night about 10:10 PM ON mobile / mobile? I thought it was an interesting catch given the talk about the old system possibly being reimplemented.

PSP Media will occasionally use Tac 1 to chit chat with each other, but they haven't in a while. I've kept the old VHF system in the scanner just for occasions where they use VHF. A friend tells me the VHF system being reimplemented is a serious possibility.

Guess it shows the grass isn't always greener...

A narrowbanded VHF back up system for PSP has been mentioned in one of the other PSP threads here on the board. A request for a waiver was sent to the FCC by a consultant working for PSP to get the VHF narrowbanded system up and running. I think the link is in the sticky thread about PSP and Starnet.
