Where should the squelch be set for a Pro 106 monitoring p25 in Mn

I monitor a P25 system here in Albany County with my PRO-651. I keep my squelch at roughly the 10 o'clock position, and that works for me. Opening it much more than that seems to slow the scan rate down considerably. Closing the squelch too much will cause it to miss transmissions. Much will depend on your P25 system signal levels.

If the squelch setting could be the same for every user it wouldn't be adjustable.
Depending of each users RF situation the settings will be different.
