Squelched On ScanList - Not On Direct Entry - DSD+ FastLane 2.155 with FMP24

I attempt to monitor a frequency in two ways. The scanlist method results in a squelched signal and the other does not. Why? And can it be corrected? I am curious...

My scan starts this way from a batch file:
START FMP24 -i3 -P0.0 -s1 -o1

My single frequency, contained in the scanlist above starts this way from a batch file:
FMP24 -i3 -o1 -P0.0 -f147.04 -b12.5 -n2

FMP24 -h says:

-q<num> Enable/disable squelch logic (0-1) [-q0]

so squelch mode is off by default

So add -q1 to the command line if you want squelch active.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! smile... I did a search in the text manual for "sq" and only came up with "square". I see that, again, if you do a ? on the running FMP24 then it shows up as a command option / parameter.

I was tinkering with squelch today in direct entry. If gain is to high then noise floor will break it easily. Turning down the gain helps but might degrade signal performance. a S7 signal is good enough anyway to be discernible in FM narrow even AM mode does fine with a S7 signal.
