Social Security Admin (SSA) Second Support Ctr, Research Triangle Park, in Durham NC is using conventional P25 Phase 1 radios with a NAC of 315 and TG 1, all communications were encrypted. Two of the six freqs assigned to the facility were monitored on a recent visit, 406.550 and 415.550 using spectrum sweep on my TRX-1 and DSD+.

Other freqs assigned to this facility (but not monitored) are 406.775, 4017.075, 415.775, and 416.075.

Frequencies and user info were found in the recently released Unclassified NTIA Government Master File posted in this forum.
Data submitted to database, NAC entered in the Wiki.

That answer the 2019 Question of the ENC on 406.5500 for the unknown Agency.

Amazing the little hints found in that document :)

Yes.. do a FIND using "NC DURHAM" and there are tons of HHS [Health and Human Services] for the NIH complex :)
Also your SSA has some VHF allocations there as well
Not sure which ones you are referring to, but I don't believe I have verified them. Is NIH in the document?

yeah no kidding, spent hours playing with different variations as NC is no easier than MA. Shame we dont live in South Dakota. would make searching easier. not to mention there are no more than a half dozen radios in the state. and thats 2 per capita!
