Am seeing on twitter that St.Cath's Fire have gone Digital on all their channels in the last few days.
Can anybody confirm that?
And if the freqs are still the same or changed?
It would make sense as to follow what the Falls did with the new system last year...

For those wondering, St. Catharines Fire has gone all digital in last couple days for all calls. You will need a digial scanner to listen.

So I am assuming the 3 freqs 153.830.....155.445.....& 151.445

I asked him for more info but he hasn't replied as of yet.

No one in my area has said anything about ST CATHARINES going digital but I have not been listening lately, I have been using my scanner for unitrunker and DSD+ decoding, I will listen in on all the St Catharines Frequencies and see if any are digital.

FYI

TAFL shows another pair for St. Catharines Fire not listed on Radio Reference; 152.795/157.875

I did a frequency search at 8am when when they do their radio and cad test. The new dispatch frequency is 152.795 and is in analog. Tac2 is the old ch3 and tac 3 is the old ch1 both on p25

FDs who switch to digital modes don't always stick to all the same frequencies...
such as in Eastern Ontario, Leeds and Grenville etc. Has anyone checked TAFL?

This is what I found on the Government web site
I'll set up my 396t scanner and the ARC396 Software and see what it logs on all the frequencies.

150.395
151.445
152.795
153.800
154.070
155.445
157.875
158.625
163.380
165.405

Dispatch signal is weak, but TAC 2 comes in nice and strong in Toronto.

Don't you mean HAMILTOIN?

I'm curious about 154.83, I didn't think that was for SC.

Frequencies For A Noobie

I'm just wondering what the exact frequencies are for the fire department.

EG: Chan 1, Chan 2, etc....

I am a noobie and just starting to listen in and was wondering if anyone could help me out.

Thank You!
