I had the chance to do some scanning on St Clair Co, which I usually never do because I am too far away. I was able to write down all the TG's I saw and later went to the DB to see who I had the chance to hear. I heard 22 TG's in about 30 minutes. I was happy. I noticed in the DB that many of the TG's I heard were in bold blue type. Are these new to Starcom? Looks kind of interesting seeing new members, if you will to Starcom.

Those are TG's that are available on Calls and Broadcastify. Click on them to go to hear them.

St Clair Co can be difficult to listen to. I'm in University City, just on the western edge of St Louis City and I can monitor Monroe County easier than St Clair.

I don't think they are dark...I hear them regularly on Starcom
MCSD and Valmeyer went dark last year, Waterloo and MC EMS went this spring. Columbia Police dispatch dark also. They do have open TGs but I have never heard them use them. They use their secure channels. FD has a secure channel but fire and EMS usually dispatched together. FD can be heard and on fireground but once EMS is dispatched it is no longer heard.

By "Dark", I assume you are meaning Encryption. Has this been submitted so that the database can be updated with this information?

I have not been scanning 'closely' to Monroe Co first responders but I can tell you that I do, at least now and then, get reception in the clear on their Starcom TG's. I received a few last night on their law groups. Maybe it is temporary usage?
