Does anyone know if the Emergency 9-1-1 Surcharge Referendum on March 16, 2004, passed or failed? This was to provide funding for their new proposed countywide TRS.

The 911 referendum failed to pass in St. Clair county. I don't know what the status of the project is at this time. I know that the county did get federal funding, but I don't know how much.

Thank you! I hear that they are moving forward with the system and it should be online in a few months if all goes well. Apparently, this system will become a subsystem of the Illinois State Police STARCOM 21 Project.
