All tone outs are simiulcasts of the VHF patch to the 800 P25 system.

Macomb makes the switch in Nov of this year.

St. Clair goes online in Feb 2007.

Port Huron will stick with their system till lat 2007 early 2008

Off the Richmond tower today I heard a few St. Clair County fire tone out calls going
out over Port Huron's talkgroup 2727.

This is the first time I have heard county calls go out
on that talkgroup.

Maybe that is what EAGLE1123 heard today, I didn't personally see
talkgroup 2797 active, but I did hear Ira being toned out on 2727 like he mentioned.

So is 2727 the official County Fire Dispatch talkgroup?

No 2727 is Port Huron/Marysville........ But its the only one hooked up to simucast off the VHF for tone outs. ONce the county fire main is hooked up and running all twps will run off a different TG and Port Huron/Marysville will be the only ones using 2727.

I will talk to the county people and the guys at the city and try to get you a complete TG list..

Sorry if this is a little off topic, but I was wondering if St. Clair County is going on-line around Feburary 07 does this mean that they got the OK for the county's new 800mhz towers? or are they just going to try and use the Lakeport and Richmond towers?

Just curious...thanks
