St. Francois county sherrifs TAC channel question

Ive been listening on both law 1 and law 2 for years now and here recently ive been noticing sheriff units tell eachother to switch to tac. I was wondering if they are using a private frequency to hide there conversation from the scanners or something in that nature. Anyways if anyone has information about this that would be cool!

I'm not from the area, but taking a look at the database page, have your tried the other frequencies that are on the license associated with Law 1 and Law 2. KAI745 is the license. That license holds additional frequencies, that appear to be repeaters. There are 3 that don't appear to be identified in the database. Just a guess, but they could be using one of those for a tac channel as simplex or repeated.
