I heard an interesting exchange between YYT and a civil aircraft earlier today. The civil, fearing an airspace conflict with "Convoy 6535" attempted to contact the latter with no joy which resulted in the civil contacting YYT.
YYT informed civil, Convoy 6535 was hearing civil, yet 6535 did not respond to civil directly.

6535 was inbound to YYT at the time having previously flown a lengthy series of legs from YYT to 300+Kms offshore to SE, W and then NE back to YYT.

What makes this interesting is that "Convoy 6535" is used occasionally by Canadian Special Forces, and is notable for flying over the Freedom Convoy in late January and February, 2022. Also, during today's incident Convoy 6535 info appeared on Flightradar as ADSB blocked.

I'm not convinced this was a Fisheries patrol aircraft as these flights usually buzz the coastline closely. Makes me think something is afoot in this region of the Atlantic. More info on Convoy 6535 link below.
