St. joseph going Digital

Just thought i let everyone know Saint Joseph is going digital. The plan is to have the new system in place and working by NOV. 2005. it is a motorola system, but im not sure on the details of it.

All I know is that the system is being put in by Midwest Mobile. If they go dig then us scanner people will not be able to here them. Which I as a Ham Radio person will not like.

Then you will need a digital scanner. Digital is not the same as encryption. if they do encrypt, then you will have a problem.
