I guess I could have put this in the TGID identification thread but thought maybe it would be better to do a separate thread. Regarding St Landry: Does anybody know if Leonville and Melville still have a local PD or has the S.O. taken over enforcement operations for these towns? I know they had financial issues in the past and were talking about how to maintain a police presence in the towns. In some other parishes, the S.O. has taken over when the local municipality cannot afford a small town P.D.. This info would help me trying to I.D. some unidentified talkgroups.

Also, as far as Eunice, La goes, isn't Eunice in St Landry parish? I see that Eunice P.D. is listed under Acadia parish in the LWIN database. Is this correct?

Thanks for any info.

Looking at google maps it appears that the northern 90% or so of Eunice is in St. Landry Parish and the southern 10% is in Acadia Parish with Stittig Street / Perchville Road being the dividing line between the two parishes.
