How does paging work for the county? I see fire/EMS North and South. Online broadcasts are strong for some departments and weak for others.

Multiple repeater sites. Some departments have Store and forward devices which rebroadcast the call a second time after being paged. I believe there is a total of 8 repeaters now.

Living in a different county I like to listen to my home town of St Lawrence County but find the only online feed congested with local police chatter and static. Some departments when they tone out I can hear just find but others like the Massena area come in very static. I guess it depends on where in the county the broadcast feed is stationed.
