Mildly interesting that north of the border here, I can hear the input to St. Lawrence County Fire/EMS paging/dispatching on 153.935, weak but consistent. On a paging test recently I was able to hear output on159.090 but much weaker than input, and sometimes covered over by a commercial DMR system up here, to the west of Ottawa.

Also, checking low-band, the voice part of pager test was retransmitted on 42.38 simultaneously.

Dave, not sure what you are hearing, but that is certainly not St. Lawrence County NY. The frequencies you list are not in use by the county and they haven't been using Low Band in over 20 years.

I think he means Franklin County. They dispatch on 159.090/153.935 and 46.38 (not 42.38).

Sorry about all that, it is indeed Franklin County, also 46.38 as corrected. Must have been an off day writing that! Just wondering where in the county the various signals are coming from.
