Does anyone know if St. Louis Park fire dispatch is still using 154.310? I haven't heard anything lately and it used to be vbusy. To my knowledge they aren't dispated by the County on 154.385 so did they switch completely over to ARMER away from VHF paging?

You can trying looking back here for some older posts, but if I recall correctly, there was some discussion about that here in the past. I sort of recall that they weren't going to use that VHF frequency at all any longer because they had a new system in place.

I did find a thread from last summer mentioning the possibility of St. Louis Park moving to Edina for their fire dispatch but nothing since then. I didn't see any new FB2 licenses in the FCC database for SLP.

SLPFD is only using the VHF frequency for call-back's, etc. Daily Operations are no-longer on the VHF system.

Thanks for the info. That's too bad since the VHF was so easy to copy. Whatever callback's are I haven't heard a peep. I wonder if at some point they might think about merging with the County for dispatch.

Essentially, you’ll only hear “major events” on the VHF. Fires, water rescues, etc. when off duty personnel are needed to come back to work to support the on duty.
