STA26 Townsend FD Roof Collapse

Hello,

Monitoring DANG SW Channels, it seems STA 26 Townsend FC's House roof has collapsed due to weight of heavy snow. The vehicles have been removed and the DNG are relocating to STA 1/27 Middletown. No injuries reported. Hopefully, the damage will be minimal and the FC can return to using the House.

Station 26

The firehouse has collapsed pretty badly and they have the earliest idea of a return time to be atleast 6 months....Their trucks are scattered throughout lower New Castle County and in really weird places such as an airplane hanger .They will be running all mutual aid responses with neighboring companies until they can get something established to park their trucks in. They are looking at a pretty substantial investment in repairing the fire house. They had just renovated the other half of the firehouse.
