I live in pw county and i have entered the frequencies into my scanner for stafford county but i don't get anything. does anyone that lives in stafford have the official frequenies for the stafford sheriff.

Right here at RR you can go to the home page and click on the left side of the home page under Radio Features then click on "RR Database" then click on "VA" then click on "Stafford" county (or any county you want for their info) to get:

You should be able to hear them, unless you're trying to listen to the simplex stuff...? The three repeater freqs for the Sheriff are correct, and heard often.

what are the 3 sheriff repeater frequencies
489.8375, 489.3125, and 488.8125. All use tone 156.7.

If you are trying to listen from PWC there are many areas of the county where Stafford County Sheriff's Office is either scratchy or completely unreadable with a stock antenna. I am across from McCoart and I can pick them up pretty clear most of the time though.
