I think Stafford Township Police have went P25 digital. I'm hearing P25 on their old frequency, 460.2750 MHz. I don't have a digital scanner so I cannot confirm it.

You'll definitely be able to get it in Lacey. I can get it here in Beachwood so you should be able to get it in Toms River, too.

I just heard a call on 460.050 for Stafford. I was able to get it here in Toms River, but very weak. I have heard nothing on 460.275 so far.

Hey guys....sorry, I havent been on in a few days. I was monitoring 460.2750 all day Saturday on my pro96 and heard nothing! I have 460.0500 in my scanner as LBI Police....do they share freq's with stafford?

I think it was Radio Repair testing on 460.2750 MHz. LBI doesn't use 460.0500 MHz at all, AFAIK.

If I recall they have a GE digital system from back in the day before P-25 came about. Maybe they are trying to get it going again? They had some problems when it was first installed. If it is the GE system you will not be able to monitor them.

Are you referring to the Errickson Aegis Digital System they used or are still using on 460.050 when and if they use it as "Bravo" Channel in digital mode, or is it something different altogether?

It's not AEGIS or ProVoice. It's either VSELP or P25, and I doubt they'd use VSELP.

Yes, I remember that. 460.275 was some kind of digital about 1998-1999-ish. They eventually moved the digital stuff to 460.050 and put .275 back in the clear.

Hmm, interesting. Do you remember if it sounded anything like P25?

I was referring to the digital they used or are still using for 460.050 when they use or used it as Bravo Channel, not the current digital they are testing on 460.275. Information posted on the old Long Island Scanning Resources site stated that it was Errickson AEGIS Digital and not receivable by any scanner.

I just heard two people say "fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive" on 460.2750 MHz R (PL 123.0 Hz). Sounds like Radio Repair doing radio checks.

EDIT: Dispatch just said "unit calling on 'Bravo'" on 460.2750 MHz R (PL 123.0 Hz).
