Stamford FD Fireground Freq Question

I know that the FD is encrypted on their trunked radio system but their dispatch is simulcast on a regular VHF frequency. What I'm wondering is do they use a encrypted fire ground channel or do they use a simplex 800 MHz. 2nd question is does each volunteer department have its own set of fireground frequencies or do they use the TRS.

Stamford uses trunked and simplex fireground also they have 700mhz freqs they use on the fireground all encrypted as far as I have herd so far

Hey thanks for the response. So even the 700 MHz simplex freqs in addition to the talkgroups are also encrypted?

Everything is Encrypted in Stamford because if you (or the media) can't hear it, then you can't question what is going on or their actions.
