Stamford PD getting a new radio system ????

So what happened with all the problems reported a few months back in the media with Stamford PD's radio system?

Are they upgrading??

Wilton PD: Somebody posting on fordyce.org/scanning said they are getting digital with fulll time encryption. True ???

I had read about the radio problems in the Stamford Advocate newspaper while visting a friend op there. I had worked in Stamford for many years.
The Associated Press had even picked up the story themselves.

The thing about Wilton encryption was posted on the Fordyce site. Just asking if it's correct or not...
