Stamford Police Encrypted

Hello,

I have a Pro-106 scanner and when I try to listen to Stamford Police, it is encrypted.I put in all of the simulcast frequencies and scanning all talkgroups. Help pleaseeee!!!

Almost all of the Stamford system is encrypted. You can listen to public works and stuff like that but all Public Safety is encrypted. You can hear FD dispatch on the 154.13 freq.

I am experiencing the same problem with mine is it still encrypted?

All of the public safety agencies including the police are still encrypted. I know there was talk a few months ago on whether or not they should put some of the channels in the clear. This talk occurrd when there was the possibility of a new mayor being elected if I recall. I believe I posted the article online here somewhere.
